The FreeAlert.org Laptops 4 Tanzania Campaign

Dear FreeAlert Members and Friends of Africa,
Announcing...

The FreeAlert.org Laptops 4 Tanzania Campaign!

The Problem
In 2004, only 15,000 young people graduated from high school in Tanzania (a country of 35 MILLION people).

Our Contribution
We're donating $1,000 to Jennifer Way to her over to work with some of the neediest children in Tanzania and we're hoping you'll pitch in a few bucks, too.

BUT, we don't want to send Jennifer off empty handed. We want to raise $2,000 to send least 20 laptops with her (purchased from the "One Laptop Per Child" Campaign). OLPC is expected to be offering the first batch of $100 (wind-up powered) laptops for kids by October 2007. Should that schedule be correct, your $100 gift will equal 1 laptop per child in Tanzania. Please visit Laptop.org.
