A consistent ethic of human life

To my Pro-Life Friends frightened by Barak Obama,

In trying to keep with my fellow pro-life position, I also am against wars for oil and our consistent entry into war in this country every 10 years or so for the past 200 years largely FOR BOOSTING ECONOMY. Even Allen Greenspan has stated the war in Iraq was/is about oil. I think that is very hard to argue against. Our country is a war machine that makes us a culture of deathly efficient killers.

Our country does not follow Jesus' teachings on the use of force. I am voting largely in this election for someone I consider to be the lesser of 2 evils. Neither candidate has what I would consider Jesus' consistent ethic of human life. To be truly pro-life, I believe you also need to be anti-death-penalty, hesitant to kill through wars and protective of the unborn. No candidate in this election supports all 3. One supports 2 of 3. That's who I'm voting for.

When a Presidental Candidate Costs Us War Profits

When a President costs us the war-based profits of a beltway bandit like Lockheed Martin, I have to step out on a limb and say... I'VE FOUND MY PRESIDENT!

We're an arm-sales based economy despite the warnings of President Eisenhower and other wise visionaries warning against America's quick slide toward becoming the top exporter of the world's most terrifying death-toys.



I blame all of us who don't protest with our dollars and our votes, but especially myself for not speaking out as much as I should.

Oh, and I blame the numerous evils of these men, too:
