My dads health

Turns out my dad's finger surgery went well, but the post surgery is the problem. He almost died the past week because his surgeon refused to give it to him by IV. He was required to take it orally which over a series of related events led to his dehydration and acompanying superbug which attacked his kidneys and led to 18% operation of his kindeys (renal failure). He knew something was desperately wrong so he checked out of the hospital in moses lake against medical advice and got a ride 8 hours away to Seattle from a friend. They took him into the ER where they discovered his renal failure and admitted him to the hospital immediately.

You dear reader may see (between the lines) a possible reason for doctors to consider they patient's requests or to have a DAMN good reason for denying their spoken bodily needs.
